Whisper in his ears, before he starts his winter sleep……"whisper as well", maybe we should wake up the lion?
chant: Progress, Progress, Progress!!!I thought I saw him crack an eye open the other day…soon he may wake up and demand progress!
Hello fellow modelers!
I posted in a few build logs recently why I have been absent, but thought it would be fitting to keep anyone updated who may be looking forward to progress on the NL.
Short story…family and I got Covid and afterwards I developed a bad case of Bronchitis that didn’t want to go away! After taking steroids, antibiotics, cough meds and using an inhaler, I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (No I’m not dying , I am almost well)…
So I have avoided glue, stain, sanding or cutting wood, etc. or anything that would aggravate my lungs.
So the last 2 months I have been busy with other hobbies, mainly music! So my guitar playing has made significant improvements lately!
I hope to be back at the workbench soon with some progress to show! Until then, everyone stay well. I have been keeping an eye on you all!
Ps - the two smaller guitars on the lower left are my granddaughters!
That’s looking good, Dean. Is that a Gibson Flying V?Hey friends and fellow modelers…just checking in. No progress on the ship yet…still jamming!

I recognized it, because a Dutch friend of mine played also one. A very visual and pronounced V.Thank you Peter! Yes, it is a Gibson flying V, a replica of the 58 version with a few modern upgrades.
