I am almost done with the railings at these two levels, just need to cap the upper railing and paint. But I need to soak and bend the board first.
I am debating whether to continue with railings on this side and move towards the bow, or repeat the same progress on the opposite side?
I am leaning towards doing the opposite side first, so I can also do waterway boards and the boards that cap the ends of the deck. That way both decks will be finished minus deck furnishings, etc. Decisions... ;)
 
I fear I’m losing my mind…lol! For some reason I keep thinking the vertical supports on the rails are too plain. I couldn’t make them turned because they frame the cannon port opening in a few places. So they have to remain square. So I decided to add a thin strip of veneer and put bolts on it. ;)
