NORSKE LOVE - Billing Boats 1:75 scale

Fantastic assembly Dean, looking at the port and starboard comparisons, the little piece of rail base (gouged and painted gold) between the second- and third-gun port as numbered stern to bow, forms a 30 deg or so point. The point on the starboard side is on top and on the port side it's on the bottom. To me, this adds character to the hull. I love it!

Thank you Daniel! I definitely treated each element in the railings individually. ;)

Hey Daniel, I just realized what you were referring to ...lol. Good catch! I always though it should be with the point upwards, but the kit shows the other way. So I guess subconsciously I made it the way I thought looked better. I may have to change it to match the other side. ;)

That is brilliant spotting Daniel:)

Next I had to add the vertical post modification…first I made the boards and added the rivets…

Then they were glued on after painting…

Next I can finally move to the mid ship bulwarks and cannon ports! ;)
Good morning Dean. All is well and and productive in Deans shipyard for sure. Excellent work. It is amazing how those little details, E.g. the little boards with rivets etc make a massive impact. Stunning. Cheers Grant

Wow, with the railings done on the other side, she really comes to life. Great job! I wish I could paint like you do, it's perfect. Love the detail Daniel seemed to spot. That's having a keen eye for sure. It's like both sides of the ship has it's own character.

regards,
Peter

Thanks Grant! I felt they needed something to make them less plain looking. ;)

Thank you Peter! She is taking shape for sure, soon I can move on to other details! ;)

With all the material you're adding this hull will be as stiff as aboard, not to mention the weight...
