Modelship Dockyard - New Kit POF 1:48 Hayling Hoy 1760 by Modelship Dockyard

Since the development of HMS Blandford(←you can click this to access that thread), I've been receiving some feedback about the difficulty it looks. Indeed, to make a big POF kit like that would require years of modelling experience, so how modelers without that much of experience can enjoy POF kits then? A few months ago, when I was browsing on digital museum, I accidentally found some beautiful cargo ships(Fig 1). Single mast, lovely size, easy to make, so i think it's the right time to start this project!

Hallo @Modelship Dockyard
we wish you all the BEST and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Here's the written instruction guys, in case the 3D one is not clear.
There might be a few mistakes, but i've tried my best to make the words correct, especially the specialised terms.

i read through your topic from start to finish
i agree with other comments this will make a great POF kit for those builders wanting to try framing a model. From what i read you started with original museum plans, you developed a 3D model by using other resources as research then you came up with drawings and instructions to produce an all original POF kit.
It is a very good idea of finding a subject with multiple reference sources that can be used by the builder. It is a common practice done in the hobby world.
plagiarism is the the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own: which i am happy to see this is not the case everything done here is original work based on research and references.

this is what we do here and that is to show case the work of artisans from around the world. No where else will you see the skills, dedication, creative thinking and 3D modeling all to improving the hobby.

Been following this with a view of it being my next project. Looks as if it will fit the bill for a someone who wants to build a wooden ship but has no experience or knowledge. However, on looking through the 3D instructions I was a bit concerned that I would not be able to do justice to the rigging as the instructions, to me, seemed a bit sparse. Where would I be able to get more info on rigging? Looking forward to the release.

Thank you for your suggestions Colin. The modelling experience of modellers has long been our main priority, we will continue to try improve the instructions, both the 3D and written. At the mean time, we will try other means to clarify the rigging part, such as upload the 3D model of hayling.
