The carvings, ill use the head figure as an example to show how we design them, this process is the same for all our ships. We first collect information for the ship’s carvings, from books, models etc. For this head figure, we know that it’s a lion so we collected some pictures of real ship lion head figures:

Then we find a painter&designer(we’ve changed our painter just few days ago, to a Post-graduate student of the famous UAL-CSM), and draw the head figures using photos, this is what we get:

We then do the 3D modeling, and end up with this:
