POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

Thank you very much dear Roger, I am doing my best to progress and learn professional skills. Your support and that of the other members is motivating and encouraging
I totally agree with Uwe. It’s a pleasure to see your progress and consistently good work Shota.

my dear friends
I am happy to update that thanks to Tobias's guidance and the encouragement from my friends I was able to produce beam h.
I promise in the next update to bring a detail of the process that is slightly different (I had a broad pear wood).
I have yet to apply the process to the second/parallel h-beam
I didn't take a walk/photograph because I wasn't sure I would succeed and I was more focused on work.
Thanks to everyone for the support with likes, smileys and words of encouragement

good evening dear friends
As I promised, I will explain the working method I applied in creating the side h-beams/in slope.
First step, I drew on two separate boards (2.2 cm and 1.1 cm) the side shape of the beams.
After that I sawed and sanded until I got a good initial result of the contours. After that I sketched the front and back shape of the beams , and here too I sawed and sanded accordingly.
After receiving the two parts that make up the h beam, I made additional tests and adjustments/cutting/sanding and only after I achieved the required standard did I glue them. Even after gluing, I left enough raw material to allow me to make final finishes until I get satisfactory results that match the plan. Hope the pictures will help in understanding those coming in line
Good night everyone

Hello dear friends
Tonight I spent several hours creating the opening for the steering wheel of the ship, which consists of 3 parts (i j k) and is located in the center between the pair of beams f. First I sawed the shape of the three parts. indicates that both sides (i k) are 5.4 mm wide and j is 7 mm wide.
I sanded the parts and then glued them.
Later I sanded again the flaky structure created from the 3 parts to produce a nice finish .
In the next step, I created the elliptical opening with a width of 16 mm. After that, I removed the lower remainder of part j. As a result, the sides of the circle at the narrow points tended to break. To prevent the break, I glued an outer layer 0.35 mm thick on each side from pear wood and a rounded piece with a length of 5 mm on the inner side to strengthen the weak points.
I sanded the bonding areas of the reinforcement parts a lot, to reduce the possible damage to the beauty of the part.
Don't worry, the width of the part will be adjusted to the other beams and their dimensions using adjusted sanding.
I believe the pictures will help in understanding the method
Good night everyone

Outstanding Shota! How your skills continue to grow!
I agree with Paul in the above post, but please pay attention to the symmetry: the right side is narrow to the left side. (blue lines)
