Mirek, my dear friendWitaj
Mnie ten pasek gruszy pod oknami strzelniczymi podoba się. Pozdrawiam Mirek
Tobias, my dear friendVery nice progress, I see you will continue with the rest of the planks with pear, it will certainly make a beautiful composition. I only attached the front black bow planks after the first planking, I hope you can get a clean transition at the curves of the individual boards.

Tobias, my dear friend
first of all I would like to thank you for your support and guidance all along the way.
I took a slightly different approach, under the ebony boards I placed a thin veneer of pear, 0.6 mm thick. The pear wood boards of the flecking at the end that connects to the ebony will end in a 0.6 thick tab that goes under the ebony and will match the configuration of the ebony board as a mirror image.
have a good weekend

Hello Bernard,Hello Shota,
2 years ago, I made a fairly accurate interpretation of the Amarante's stern and bow decorations.
If you'd like a little inspiration, I can send you some larger images.

Hello @Meyo007 , have a look at the page in the French forum and send Bernard a PMHello Bernard,
Those decorations are fantastic! I’m also considering starting the Amarante model, but since I’m not very skilled at sculpting, I think I could use a CNC to create the stern and bow decorations. Would you be kind enough to share the 3D model with me?
Thanks Marco
True story
Great figurines. Sorry for being bold, but is there any chance I could ask you for the STL files to print such figurines? I’ve been searching for something similar, but the quality has been very poor. The one I found turned out to be a statue of Nelson. I made a figurine from it for my Victory. But I would love to have more of the crew. And another small surprise that a friend produced for me on a 3D printer - figures for a ship on a scale of 1:48View attachment 425953View attachment 425954View attachment 425955View attachment 425956

I recommend that you contact him, I do not want to infringe copyright.
