POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

Hello Shota, it would have been better to use the following drawing from the plans, showing the layout of the wooden planks. I don't know if the bottle's orientation is correct.

Tobias my dear friend
Thank you very much for the clarification and guidance. there is no doubt that you are right.
However, in practice the width of the boards as shown in the drawings you attached, makes it difficult to adjust them to the contour of the stern deck and in general.
That is why I chose a width of 6 mm. If we look at the picture I attached from Giampy65's work, we see that he also did not adhere to these drawings in terms of the width and continuity of the longitudinal lines with the pear wood planking, but adapted them to the practical ability and suitability for the hull of the ship.
we can see that the entire black surface is decorated with carvings and the lines connecting the trees are very close and will hardly be visible in the finished ship with the boxwood carvings.
Your comment is important and will help me in the future in maintaining the lines of the decorations and in general, and for that I am grateful to you.
enjoy on your vacation my dear friend :)

Mirek, mój drogi przyjacielu Dziękuję bardzo za wytrwałość, w tym przypadku użyłem półsztywnego drutu mosiężnego o średnicy 0,4 mm.

Dear Mirek, Thank you very much for your patience. In this case, I used 0.4 mm semi-rigid brass wire.

good evening my dear friends
a little update:
To proceed to the next stage, I made sure that the window frames were adjusted to them and I also completed the nailing work on the rear gallery of the stern.View attachment 518361View attachment 518362
Your are putting a lot of time and energy into that black&brass, Shota. Looks nice, all the different wood tones.
Regards, Peter

Dear Shota,
I have a problem with Inkscape and Mach3 CNC program, just sends incorrect data in G-CODE format, add to this very problematic La Belle monograph, i lost interest in this project. I think the best option would be to install a there a laser and burn it frames.

What program did you use to outline frames for cutting? Can it be done in Lightburn? or you done this in another program?

Lightburn working great, I recommend

Thank you. Is there a way to upload a scan of monograph and frame it for next burning?
My working method was based on scanning several frames and "breaking" them down into parts and adjusting them to the size of the wooden board,
also in order not to lose valuable raw material/Swiss pear wood.
When you marking the contour line, take about 0.2 mm outside the smooth line because raw material is lost in burning and sanding afterwards.
Hope my answer helps

Hi Shota, I am just now catching up on your wonderful build. She is becoming more beautiful with every post. I agree here with Paul, the contrast of the Pearwood and black accents is very appealing to my eye.
Dear Ken
thank you very much for your kind words and compliments, I'm glad to hear that you like my Construction proses and design vision
