YEA SO FAR, I WILL TAKE SOME PICTURES OF SAMPLES OF DIFFERENT WOOD AND THICKNESS, HAVING SOME PROBLEMS WITH 3/32 INCH WALNUT, IT JUST HAVE TO PLAY WIT IT SOME TO GET THE FEEL, THE INSTRUSTIONS SAY YOU ONLY HAVE TO DAMPEN THE WOOD AND NOT SOAK IT, I HAVE RU THE WALNUT IN SOME HOT WATER AND IT SEEMS TO WEAKEN THE WOOD WHERE IT SNAPS DRY BEND SEEMS TO BE BETTER DO NOT KNOW WHY, SO SOME EXPERIMENTING, THE ONLY THING -PLASTIC IS THE HANDEL GEARS WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF NOT PLASTIC THIS IS THE SAME TOOL MICRO MART USED TO SELL I GOT THIS ONE FROM CHRONOS TOOLS ENGLAND, THE SHIPPING WAS HALF THE PRICE OF THE TOOL EXPENSIVE SHIPPING BUT IT WORKED OUT THE SAME AS MICRO MART WAS SELLING IT $150.00 HOPE IT WORKS OUT THAT HALF HULL/CUTTER HAS EXTREME BENDS AT THE BOW. I found it also in their catalog on page 33. They indicate it has steel gears. I'm somewhat interested. Thinking of steaming planks then maybe rolling them through to bend.

This tool is the miniature 'rolling mill'. It is designed in mind to flatten the material, make it thinner, or change the shape depending on the mill rollers installed. I guess you can use it to bend the wood if the material is not too thick.
