the Colonial Schooner Hannah in 1/48 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hello Shota, Just catching up on your build. I am sorry to hear that you had one of those rebuilds, Yes the hull flaring is very important as it leads to the final finish of your ship. I do realize that it was a very hard decision to make, but the finished results are well worth the extra work. You will find now that you have flared the hull much more closely that your planking will fall in place a lot easier, Well Done.
Regards Lawrence

Dear Lawrence
thanks :)

Hello dear friends
Tonight I started creating and gluing the planking on the other side of the ship. The feeling from the results is better. Hopefully this coming weekend I will finish it too and move on to the next stage. I will continue to update and share with you

Hello dear friends
it was very productive day, I worked on the ship for almost 8 hours and managed to return to a stage To the stage I was at about a month ago, when I realized I needed to remove the previous planking and rebuild it.
today I almost completed the Exterior planking, which includes The Wales and The Upper Hull Planking.
I still have quite a bit of work left with the wooden nails, the top edge that will be designed using Micro Shapers and other details and completions.
Attaching the photo that documenting the stages of work including designing boards on top of a jug for drinking water and restaurants. Do not worry, the bending methods using steam, boiling water and solder are familiar to me and I use them, but this time I chose a little simpler
I'm very satisfaction. Good night

Hello dear friends
Today I had an exciting evening in the work process, I sawed the ship out of the jig frame. There was a sense of a sculpturer that beginning to notice the figure he imagined being formed from a block of marble.
So , like a sculpturer, how know that he have more months of work but the feeling is great from an achievement so far.

I will share with you photos and videos from the process

Congratulations for this milestone - now she is looking like a ship ;)

Good evening friends and Merry Christmas
After the exciting stage in Last Tuesday, I rested for a few days and today I returned to continue building a ship.
I started the evening by painting the outer panel at the stern end of the ship black.20201226_215053.jpg
Next I marked the places where I would do drilling in favor of the pegs connecting the planking boards to the sides of the ship.20201226_214823.jpg
After I finished all the drilling, I started inserting the pegs, gluing them and even cutting and sanding their edge so that the planking surface would be smooth. 20201226_230405.jpg20201226_233646.jpg
Good night and happy holidays BottleExplosionBeer:)
