Time for some carving glovesThe stuff on your skin @Maarten . With the low pH that also damage old paintwork just by touching it. Huidvet in het Nederlands toch?
Or wash my hands beforeTime for some carving gloves
I thought it was 'wash my hands' AFTER?!?!?Or wash my hands before
BEFORE carving and after eating the chicken and spare-ribs.I thought it was 'wash my hands' AFTER?!?!?
you can do it!!!My hands are cramping just watching the video...
Thanks again for the kind words and the likes.
This time no pictures of the result, but a video to show you how the proces is going and how many time it takes to do a small part.
I'm think too, when you can paint and drill in tooth you can drill ornaments too. Just the same job but with wood.you can do it!!!
A very good source - many thanks for sharing with usFor who are interresting in how the anatomy of heads is build up. I use Andrew Loomis, a book that is free to download.where you can find all different types of heads. With these drawings in mind I create a face on my warrior.

That is a really nice one, Stephan. What a details on the helmet and the fase! The next one is done. The details are getting better and better, but also I am reaching the boundaries of what I can view and craft. It is too small to continue adding more detail. (the left nose wing could just need some extra attention)

Maybe I'll don't paint the face of this one, just the gold for the helmet and body
Very good work. Fun too look at. What tools are you use in the video? Thanks again for the kind words and the likes.

I use little homemade chisels and look here: Post in thread 'Purchased shortly ago / sthg new in your workshop -> present it here' https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/...our-workshop-present-it-here.2103/post-167261Very good work. Fun too look at. What tools are you use in the video?
Thanks Peter. This one you have to see in real. Making a picture is difficult because the shade gives not all details. So I give the face just a layer of Danish Oil.That is a really nice one, Stephan. What a details on the helmet and the fase!
