You might check the main mast step location. It looks to be sitting on frame 28, where it should be frame 29.
If you look at Dan's pictures you'll notice there is one frame between frame 31 with the holes for the bilge pumps and the location of the mast step.

Thank you. I'll move it.

Hey Ted, looking straight down there should not be a gap that I highlighted in yellow. You need to move the mast step away from the rib with the two sump holes until the yellow lines are on top of each other. See FIG, 10 below. This is critical for the mast to line up with the deck opening.

This layout is critical as is all the other Fig's in the plans.

Parts 118-120 are etched on one side, see photo. The, Plans figure 11 don't show this etching. Im Assuming the etching goes up

I am so tempted to try installing the lower load bearing beams and cross members I loved in Peter's build but have decided not to attempt them. Having only hand tools and little experience it would be asking for frustration. In this case I'll just sit back and admire the work of others.

After building the hull with the frames, then my build is on a lot of chapters ‘a bit out of the box’. It’s better to stay on the manual. Daniel and Johan can manage you better through the construction.

I agree Peter, I can't help but admire your work product.
I feel in good hands members of this site. The gracious oversight, correction and sometimes nudging have made this build possible for me. I can't imagine what trouble I would be in now without the fellowship of all you gentlemen.
Thank you again.

Can’t say my build is an exact “build-to-instructions” one. As far as the frames go, yes, but after that a lot of minor and major changes: ballast in the keel, sister keelsons, lowered focsle floor, added aft cabin floor, partial planking of lower decks, lighting, sails, adjusted rigging and the list goes on and on.
That doesn’t mean I’m not willing to help…

My excuses, Johan. But also to Daniel. For pointing yours and Daniel’s as build-to-instruction. That’s the problem when you start typing BN builds. Won’t do it again.
