Port side bow is done now to finish up the starboard side bow. After that about 4 more strakes on the stern but first need to cut the frames down for the deck framing and gun ports for the cannons

Separating the hull from the building jig. Built a stand to hold the hull to do the deck frsmes

Yes I was nervous about doing it but it came out great now to frame the deck.

Fire mast support area glued together temporarily installled to hold everything in place till glue dries…..

back at my Mystic Seaport Ship Modelers group for our monthly meeting. was great to be with my friends again and Back at the seaport. i worked 5 years on the Charles W Morgan restoration and also got to sail on her for the 38th voyage.also manned the helm under full sail for 30 mins. was one of the few to sail a 1841whale ship whale ship

Ok back to work. Making the form to bend the bow top plank. Will form both sides after wards add posts to mount it to then mount to bow.
