Hello dear friends
It's have been a few weeks since my last update, these weeks were dedicated to creating the inner planking of the ship's side.
Today I finished installing the inner part of the ship's deck.
Next week I will install the brass nails.
I would like to wish you all a happy and sweet New Year's Eve starting tonight.
I wish us all a year of happiness, joy, success, peace and tranquility.
May we continue to be friends and enjoy our special hobby

Hi Shota, like all your other admirers I see this as a great build and one In which you have excelled yourself both in building and in your well presented log.
Great work JJ..
Dear serikoffI'm wondering if a ship's hull is covered on one side and has holes on the other, there's a high risk of deflection along the keel line due to the difference in the amount of wood and its reaction to changes in humidity... How do you combat this?
What patience and dedication to make this happen, Shota. The square mails looks very nice on the prepared planks.Good evening dear friends
After about two and a half weeks of preparing and installing about 2500 nails, I am happy to announce that I have finished the interior planking of the lower decks of the ship.
Each nail was treated individually, with an emphasis on the nail head, so that it would maintain its square structure.
Initially, I made the nails about 5 mm long, and then I would insert them each using pliers with a curved head. However, towards the end of the process, I discovered that it was more efficient to cut the square wire into sections of about 3-5 cm, then insert it into the prepared hole and cut the wire on the frame line, and then sand the end of the wire so that it maintains its square shape.
I hope the pictures faithfully reflect the beautiful result I achieved.
I wish everyone a pleasant and enjoyable weekend.
