thank you ,i was a little worried about making the rail because its cut on an angle and my saw only does 90 degrees but i think it turned out ok .

Rails look great. What kind of wood are you using---at the rail and at the wale?

i was looking for ebony but couldn't find it so this was supposed to look similar , its called "wenge" and i found it on ocooch hardwoods website ,

started on what i thought was going to be another problem area today , the steps on the outside of the hull , it took me a bit to come up with a plan but once i thought of it , they went quite quickly, i know the last step is supposed to short to clear the pump dale outlet but mine seems to be well clear of the steps so i left the last one full ,

thats a good question and up next on my to do list ,are they supposed to be hinged?

this is what i came up with , some brass with a wire attached to one end filed to look like a hinge , its a little time consuming though , how is everyone else doing them?

had sometime this week to work on the canons, here's what i got
once again i think they look much better in the pictures than they do in real life , but i like them
