Thanks, Paul. Sometimes it takes some time to let it pop up in your mind. Then is was: where did I leave it? But I found it ….Success! Always an innovator, Peter.
Thanks, Stephan. In the end it worked out fine. That looks good, realistic!
Thanks, Maarten. It is now also a bit of a choice: only design the interior of the ship or also let the functions come into their own a little.Great improvement Peter. This looks much more to scale.

The volunteers are obviously a discerning group! They appreciate the skill and accuracy with which you are creating this incredible model of the ship they give their time and hearts to!Tomorrow another visit to the real Balder. Measuring some things and taking pictures.
Also a meeting with the editors of 'De Spil', the magazine that is published 3 times a year by the Friends of Museum Vlaardingen. They want to write an article about my build of the model of the Balder.
My model is coming along so that the volunteers who work on the Balder every week can also take a see how far I am now. It is very much appreciated there that I make the complete construction and also leave that visible on the starboard half. They had already seen the forecastle. "With real sliding hatches ..... look, also the water pump and the clothesline!" An enthusiastic group.

Thanks, Herman. And the light also reacts differently. Fun to ‘play’ with that. It's amazing what a difference a few planks can make. Beautiful all those detailed parts, such as the water pump.
