Now it was time for the anchors...
I chose to create some admiralty type fishing anchors using dimensions from Rich (thank you sir). I modeled the anchor in CAD and printed it on a plastic printer and painted it...

I chose to place them in the stored position on the deck...
More work on the cat davits...added links and painted them...
Next I created a wheel in CAD and printed it in plastic, and then painted it…
Next I added the lines for the anchors. I chose to use rope to the cat davits and chain through hawse hole to the windlass…here the chain is just to the windlass, but not wrapped around and fed to chain box yet
Now, I changed out the ships wheel with the one I made…added more pearwood rigging blocks from Dry Dock for the main boom...

Next I finished running the chain through the windlass to the chain box…
Assembly of the dory was next…and I sanded and shaped the oars…
Next the dory was painted, the oars stained, and I did some dry brushing inside…

Checking to see how the dory looks on the ship…next the dory stand/frame will be built and the dory attached to it with rope. Then I can do the final placement of the dory and stand on the stern deck.
