The nice part with those CAD software's is that, in principle, they are working alike. Once you learn one... it mostly a matter of interface design differences. So far, I'm going around the 10 editable files limitation by changing the "read-only" flag back and forth on a needed basis. "Read-only" component/parts can still be use in a sub-assembly/assembly has such. If it became an issue, the switch can be done.
 
Deck beam: I'm back to the build. I installed the 3 deck support beams. You can see in the close-up more details on the modified front deck, much lower to later accommodate the bunkbeds. Similarly, at the back, the floor of the captain's room. It was then time to add some Linseed oil to the area below the main deck. All the tiny nails are starting to show up. It is quite amazing how linseed oil brings plank definition and nails.... it almost looks like laser etched.
