I thought I would start my additional details with the mast. This is the progress photos up to the dry fitting, at this point I decided it would be better to start with the bowsprit. See next post for the bowsprit.

The design for the bowsprit is a modified copy of the Alert and is supported with the windless and stempost, this post will cover both. The first four photos cover turning the sprit, that was the easy part. The windlass was a little more work, I also added the cathead. This is the progress photos.

Gorgeous, I know we took some license on this project so I guess the bowsprit on the wrong side of the stem is OK. Love what you are doing and these items will definitely be in my next 1/2 hull. Aloha, MikeJ

I have been making a little progress on my yardwork and other request by the Admiral, a couple of rainy days gave me some time on the cutter. Just aft of the windlass is the forward companionway, stove pipe, mast, and jeer these items are shown in the following photos.

I had a good day, added the main hatchway, pump, aft companionway and scuttle. This is the progress photos.

The rudder was attached to the ship yesterday, looks like the model will be finished this week.
