HMS ALERT 1777 cutter POF by shota70 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Good afternoon dear friends
Today I finished the front part of the deck that touches the bow/keel.
The work required quite a few adjustments to achieve optimal accuracy. I'm satisfied from the result. The first two pictures show the deck after applying clear teak oil.
In the coming days I will focus on the preparation and construction of the remaining rooms and warehouses on the lower deck.

May we continue to enjoy life, our family and our hobby :) :D

A nice completion of that fore deck part, Shota. A lot of tiny connections.

Dear Friends
Thanks for your attention, but I would like to emphasize that this carling came in this configuration - thinner at the end.
I will take a photo for you tomorrow and a deficit can be seen in favor of another part that is supposed to be completed/entered
I was also looking at that ‘gap’, and also not visible on the drawings Shota posted with his EL-DL question, but ……….
I ‘borrowed’ this images from Maarten's @Maarten build log:

There comes another part!

good evening dear friends
Today I started the work on the accommodation bulkhead.
This bulkhead placed on top of the already placed powder room bulkhead. In front of this bulkhead will be 2 store rooms.

Today I focused on preparing the bulkhead and its front door. Like other friends, I was not satisfied with the door that the model provides us, but I created it myself using a method similar to the one that our Maarten performed in his model. The main difference is in the type of door hinges.
I made longitudinal axes that enter the door from the upper and lower lintel.
I admit that for me it was a more practical and convenient method than the side hinges that some members used. I am attaching photos of the process including the design of the front of the door using the Mf70, I was able to achieve a satisfactory result only on the second attempt. As usual, a have lot of work ahead, In the meantime, enjoy the photos documenting the song of creation.
Good night everyone

Good morning Shota. Way to go my friend! Excellent. Cheers Grant

good idea and executed - one more nice detail inside the hull

Very clever solution to creating a door that opens Shota. My apologies for asking about the carling. I was just trying to be helpful.
thank you very much my dear friend's for your comments, kind words, likes and smiles :) I'm trying to make the best and improve my skills

Hi Shota, just catching up with your log now after a rather long absence. That was a serious amount of nails you hammered into your hull and a good job you made of it too, well done. You really have, well, 'nailed it' :)

Dear Mark
thank you very much for your kind words and compliments, yes I "nailed them":D

Hi Dear friends
today I continue to work on the accomodation bulkhead. In front of this bulkhead placed 2 store rooms, the dry provision store and the gunnars store.
The warehouses are similar in their construction form in that the corner wall (middle of the three) connects the two walls at an angle of 45 degrees.
The gluing needs constant checking until dry that the required angle is maintained because the normal wood glue-pva, dries/shrinks the angle should change.
After the three walls have been connected at the required angles, I made the doors with the hinges and handles.
In the pictures I will show you can see that I am not fixing the parts to the ship because I have to prepare/work on the second bulkhead and the PS and SB cabins.
The first picture is taken from the construction of our friend Maarten, who is a guide for me.

Until then, I wish you all a pleasant and enjoyable weekend

Hello dear friends
Today I continued the work on the second bulkhead and the PS and SB cabins.
I take care of the doors of the bulkhead and the cabins. I like the challenge of upgrading the doors,

also because of the improvement of the scales and the results that I'm
I achieving :)

I am back to you dear friends
First I would like to thank you all for the support, likes, smiles and comments about the direction of the door.
I checked myself following your comment about the direction of the doors, and if we look at the pictures of our friend Maarten's beautiful work, then I am in a good place and agree with the plans, the practical logic and the work of our friend Maarten.

I'm Attaching a picture with the hinged door hinges to the partitions and walls of the living quarters as well as with door opening handles.

Good night
