Dear JohanHi Shota,
Great to hear you are cutting her in two.
A iniature Japanese saw set can be easily bought online, they are not expensive.
If you need any help let me know.
Dear Shota, I was just kidding!Dear Maarten
yes, I would appreciate your help regarding the Japanese saw
thanks shota
My intention was to get a recommendation on a website that sells a quality saw with a blade thickness of 0.4 millimeters. Thank youDear Shota, I was just kidding!
I don't want to think about it, not even for a minute...Are you sure you want to cut this ship Shota? You have a beautiful model right now and I would be very, very sad for you if the cutting went badly...

Ditto- I would never have the guts to saw a beautiful model like this. Shota you are a brave man. Will look amazing tho with all the detail you have in the lower hull section. Cheers GrantI don't want to think about it, not even for a minute...
Hello dear friends
Today the fun started, I hosted the monthly meeting of the friends for a hobby from my country. It was a real pleasure to eat breakfast together and talk about our projects . for example David, presented us with the Amati carriage model he is building, it is really beautiful , I presented the latest progress in Alert.

After the meeting I went to attend a friend's birthday party.
in short I am satisfied and also tired, so I am going to rest.
I wish you all a pleasant and enjoyable weekend
Hi Shota. I love this kind of meeting. Just like Johan said: like our BN meetings!Oh, and an interesting picture of a good, old F4U Corsair, nice!
In all this looks pretty familiar, DBBS meetings...
Therefore I decided to separate the two decks the way our good friend Maarten does with his model. I am inspired by the quality and beauty of his work and this is another way to develop creative abilities.
Yes ……. Another cutting action upcoming in the future!Dear Paul
thank you for your concern, believe me that the decision was made after a difficult deliberation, however the desire to allow a person/child who will view the model to be impressed by the work and even learn about the structure of the ship in an optimal way is what contributed greatly to the decision.
I admit that the decision is not easy for me either and I am afraid of the quality and precision of the cutting, I promise to do it with maximum care and precision. Thank you dear friend

Now it is your mind, no way back……… But you will certainly succeed, Shota.
You have already thought about it and you will certainly develop it further.
Maarten did it, I did it …….. and it’s ‘not really surprising’ that it works. With a good and rigidly constructed hull, it’s ‘simply possible’.
On this side you can also look at the different type a Japanese saw’s there are. It’s in Dutch, but the pictures tells a lot:

thank you very much my dear friendsHi Shota,
Most important is to go for a saw with very fine teeth. The one I use has 52 teeth per inch.
A course saw will splinter your frames.
thank you very much for the support , my Dear friendHello Shota, it looks very good, very nice black and yellow. Have a good rest it's the weekend.
