Many Thanks to @Alexander74 , @Peter Voogt , @Jimsky , @dockattner and @Tobias for your comments and remarks referring the hinges. I am aware about the situation - not easy and will be solved somehow

Before I went further with the hinges I made some "clench bolts" with which the back piece of the rudder was fixed

I still have to widden the "score", so that the rudder can be installed later on

Happy belated Birthday. Are the Dwgs that are shown laying rudder on from the Anatomy of the Ships books or is that a Dwg from the kit… CAF? Many thanks and great build.
