Андрей, перекрась марсовый огонь в охру. Корпуса фонарей стали красить в белый лишь в 19 веке.
Рангоут и такелаж стеньг - выше всяческих похвал, ты молодец!
Покрась уже всю эту глупую латунь из набора в охру. Ты уже давно перешёл на новый уровень. Это недолго и не повлияет на общий срок "скорей бы закончить модель". Но модель выиграет. И тебе приятно.
Что касается соприкосновений грота-штага с телом фок-мачты, то классики утверждают, что для защиты от перетирания на мачту ставились буковые накладки.
Andrey, repaint the top light ochre. Lantern housings only started to be painted white in the 19th century.
The spars and topmast rigging are beyond praise, you're doing a great job!
Paint all that stupid brass from the kit ochre already. You've long since reached a new level. It won't take long and won't affect the overall "can't wait to finish the model" timeline. But the model will benefit. And you'll be pleased.
As for the contact between the mainstay and the foremast, the classics claim that beech pads were placed on the mast to protect it from chafing.

Это я знаю, вопрос был о том что штаг расположен поверх "забора", хотя казалось бы что логичнее под ним проводить грота штаг.

Справедливости ради, на модели "Громовержца" провести штаг-краг под фиф-реельсом было бы всё равно невозможно. Штаг-краг идёт по прямой линии. Если бы был изгиб штаг-крага, пришлось бы менять направление. На модели грота-штаг имеет небольшой провис (возможно, усталость нитей со временем), но, если "натянуть", как раз будет прямая линия.
To be fair, on the "Thunderbolt" model, it would have been impossible to run the "Collar of a stay" under the fife-rail anyway. The "Collar of a stay" runs in a straight line. If there was a bend in the "Collar of a stay", it would have had to change direction.
On the model, the mainstay has a sag (possibly due to the threads becoming tired over time), but if you tighten it, it will form a straight line.
