Good news with lost pictures on this building log! One of SOS members RenAshbelle had all my pictures from this build log downloaded and I just got the pictures from him. Gradually I will be adding them to right places on this log.

What happened to the older pictures on YT"s build? I go back looking for older pictures and they have now been replaced by icons. I click on the icon and it says "file not found, 404..... How do I get them back.

I just need the pics of the stern side windows from page 8 of your build log if you have them YT, I am going down that route as it produces a much better result.. I have already started filling in the sides with the planks from the first layer on the hull, and will cover them in the same walnut strips that I did the second layer with.
A big shout out to RenAshbelle for downloading your pics. They are better than the mamoli plans by a long way!!

Major breakthrough. Stern side windows. This issue was bothering me since beginning of build. If going by Mamoli's, one will get ugly model of stern. I go by my own understanding how things should look like. I looked at thousands pictures of real ship. This helps to decide what you want to do. Here is what I decided doing. See pics. I disregard plans and parts Mamoli provides. Windows will be cut out in side stern structure based on what I see on actual ship pics. I will try glass made of natural mica as one our French friends advised me on this forum.

As most of you by now know I lost most of pictures from my build log here. This happened because most of pictures were links to build log at MSW. I was banned at MSW for "supporting piracy" whatever they meant by this. They deleted my log at MSW. Links to pics there were broken. Fortunately some of pictures survived thanks to one of SOS member who had them downloaded. I now got about 200 of my pictures. I tried inserting them in due places of this log. This appeared to be extremely tedious job. Not all pictures had survived. It is difficult to determine at which particular place to insert pics I have. I decided to put all I have in one or few sessions here. This will not be convenient but at least all will be in one place. Here they are. Per forum restrictions I can only insert 25 pics at a time.

YT, sad to say but you make me want to start all over again at the beginning, mate, my stanchions and rigols are arriving tomorrow from that website you recommended, hope they are as good as the pictures appear to be.

I am getting ready to put the walnut planks on the side stern galleries, not AS good as yours, but a blind man would be pleased to see it...
