Hohenzollernmodell 1660-1670 Scale 1/75 POF build by Stephan Kertész (Steef66)

I'm back building on the HZ model.

First I show you what I did the past month next to help the Admiral with some other furniture.

I cleaned up my "hok" and made an small drawer chest.

That gives me more space on the table and under it. Also it looks better, less mess.
Everything have a place now.

I also bought myself a few things like these Corradi needle rasp (tip from @Tobias ) Thanks, I so happy with them. They got a rough and fine side. Perfect in use.

And I discover on the second hand market a spindle sander. It was very cheap and barely used. With plenty reserve sanding hulls. Just 2 where used once. (better then the drill press with the sander)

Some parallel clamps, 2 sizes and from each I got 3 pieces

IMG_3600.JPG

They are not made of alu, but from gunmetal, a little bit to heavy, but strong.

Time to let you see that I started with my ship again.
Here one plank in the clamps and glue.

Always good to update your ‘hok’ and tools. And some progress on the hull. Looking good, Stephan.

Yes, and a small one :)

This room is actually a bedroom. We used before as extra living space/diner when I still had my restaurant. After lost of the restaurant and job in 2019 I needed a hobby to spend my time. First I worked on the dining table in that room with just a knife and a file. And this is the result after 4 years.

Wonderful! you never cease to amaze me with the work you do. From now on I will have no justification to complain that I only have a small student study desk to work on and a wife standing next to me anxiously holding a vacuum cleaner with finger on the "Go" button, whispering "don't make a mess" - Cheers Steef66

That part in your story will never change, even if you have your own room like me. Something in the DNA of admirals I think. :)
Haha that's why the dusty part of my workshop in the garage. Only the rigging workshop is in the house.
Ask @Ptèr who is working from the kitchen table, he is a local hero :-)
