The inner layer of the partition is made of silica sand, which is commonly used in construction industry. The sand simulates a non-combustible mixture that was used as a "fireproof" material because there was a gunpowder store behind the partition.
Excellent, clean work! Will the model be coated with anything? I see everything inside is sealed, which makes access difficult when applying oil, for example.Thank you Tony P.
