La Belle 1/36 - Plan by Jean Boudriot / myself

One important thing. Use only original equipment for your tools ! I bought a additional union nut for my milling machine. This union nut doesn´t worked well with the 3mm clamping collet. It doesn´t snaped well on it. Finally the collet was pressfitted in my milling motor and it was a hell and a inferno to remove it. Now i have to buy any parts new. Lession learned !

I´m still alive. Now it´s time for the contour following parts. First, the keelson. The wreck shows that the keelson is parted in several parts. But the parting technique on the wreck from my La Belle (Rochefort) ist different to the Album de Colbert (Toulon). Maybe because its a smaller vessel... My original plan shows only one part. To learn the manufacturing from the keelson i will create the keelson as one part as well. Several parts for the keelson i will "test" in upkomming projects.

Very good work - clean and accurate Thumbsup
The vertical dotted lines shown on the drawing of the keelson - are these maybe the joints of the keelson elements? Or what they are for?
The notches for the columns are very good executed

Thank you Uwe. The dotted lines are the position for the columns. The notches could be more deeper, but finaly the columns will hide them.
I am not so sure:
Take a look at your photo:

If these lines would show the column notches, there would be the notch shown at the end of the green arrow.
And also the dotted line would not go over the complete height of the keelson, and should show also a horizontal part for the foot bottom of the notch......
