Model Airways Sopwith Camel 1/16 scale [COMPLETED BUILD]

Today I couldn’t wait to get this done!
So the motor, cowling, wheels and propeller were added.
The wheels are supposed to angle inwards, they were only level during flight.

So I put the motor on, that was built in step 1.

I then did some weathering on the motor to add a little oil residue. Probably not real apparent in this photo?
Then the cowling was added…

I also added a little residue or weathering on the cowling around the bolts.
Then the wheels were added and the prop I built in step 1.

I decided I am going to go back and edit my build log to add the Stage number (1-10) and name used in the instruction booklet, in BOLD CAPS, on the post where I started that Stage. Hopefully that will help others who may build this airplane. I have added that info to post 1. ;)

For now, I took a few quick overall pics for reference.
I will make a final post of official “Finished”pictures sometime in the next day or two. Those I will spend more time trying to get good lighting and views, etc. I will mix overalls with closeups.
