The kit will provide wooden strips and drawings, and we give builders more independent choices at a 48 scale
Hi Uwek, Thank you for pointing out, that is indeed a error made by the modeller of ours. The kit will be supplying strips instead of full laser cutted deck, so that won't be a issue.Great Development - and she is looking very good
Only one short advise:
The deck planking in the hold would not have any butt joints - the planks are short enogh, that all the planks would have the full length - only as a hint, how the planking in the later kit would be? if it is only strips, than every model can make it how he want - if laser cut or marked, it should be corrected -> no butt joint pattern in the hold or lower decks

LOL Ok.Mor likely will be released in July, but keep follow this topic
This looks a great kit. Just what l shall be looking for after my Granado kit is finished. Looks like l have found my next build. Looking forward to the release dateExternal planking. We are likely not be using the timber we are using on this model for wales, it will either be ebony or pearwood, but I highly doubt that the ebony of that thickness would be very hard to be bent, so more likely it will be pearwood.

YesWill l be able to buy this kit through you Zoly?
Can't wait... !!The 1/48 Enterprize will be released around 15th of June, along with TWO other kits that we haven't revealed till now.
Guess that is a decision of cost. These strips of the sandwich construction can be lasered instead of milled which is a big difference in cost.It looks like something went wrong over there... .
IMHO, a pity that beams and other parts are going to be sandwich-made. Perfect squared notches could have been milled on solid parts at 45 degrees, as D. Antscherl suggests in his monographs. A challenging effort, anyway.
