That looks great nice work. Very nice color combinations. How did you do the treenails on the deck? They make the deck planks stand out more.
Don thanks for the info. I’ll have to look that tool up. So far the bending iron I got from Kolderstok has worked OK to bend the planks. I’ve learned to take my time and try not to force anything.OK MY 2 CENTS (INFLATION) THIS IS FOR THE MODELERS THAT ARE NOT SO SUPER LIKE ME, FOR REMOVING PLANKS OR OTHER PARTS THAT I AM AN EXPERT MANY TIMES OVER. WHAT I DO BOTH PVA AND CA IS USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER MUST BE REPEAT MUST BE 199% ACOTONE PUT IT ON JOINT CAREFULLY PRY IT LOOSE BE PATIENT MAYBE 2 OR 3 TIMES PUTTING IT ON JOINT WILL COME APART WITH NO DAMAGE TRY IT. AS FOR BENDING THAT AGAIN IS NOT MY FAVORIT TASK MANY, MANY REPEAT MANY MISTAKES MADE LOTS OF MONEY ON DIFFERENT BENDERS I THINK I HAVE FOUND ONE IT IS WHAT THE LUTHERS USE FOR GUITARS ETSN IT IS ELECTRIC YOU SET THE HEAT AT WHAT EVER IT NEEDS UP TO 350 D WET THE PLANK AND BEND IT TOO WORKS AMAZON $90.00, JUST FINISHED BENDING SOME VERY DELICAT CLAMPS FOR PAVELS SCHSLLOP VERY THIN AND DELICATE SET THE HEAT AT 150 D AND WET IT BEND NEXT ONE WAS ALMOST A DISASTER SOME HOW THE TEMPERATURE GOT SET AT 250 D OH, OH CAUGHT IT IN TIME IT TOOK LIKE 30 MIN TOCOOL DOWN TO RIGHT TEMPERTURE WILL BE USING IT TO BEND THE PLANKS AND HAVE TESTED IT WITH MUCH THICKER MATERIAL SET AT 300 D IT TOO WORKED MY 50 INFLATED OPION RESPONCE IF YOU CAN. I don’t know about @giocomail paint method, but I used the dyes without thinning. I airbrushed light coats and sanded between coats.I love it . . . Have you thinned the dyes?
