2500 Nails, it's as if you have nothing else to do... Nevertheless, a result to be pleased with, especially so, because those nails are still easily discernable.
(Still, those gaping holes on the port side do worry me; I considered implementing something similar on my Bluenose, but I couldn't bring myself cutting away any frame.)

שיטת העבודה בה השתמשתי אינה מורכבת יתר על המידה. החלטתי להשתמש בחותך כרסום Proxxon mf70.
השתמשתי בחותך בקוטר 0.8 מ"מ כדי לחתוך 4-5 צדדים לתוך ראש המסמר.
החריץ בראש המסמר היה בעומק של כ-50-75% כך שנשארה טבעת עגולה מתחת וסביב הראש המרובע.
לאחר מכן ביצעתי שיוף עדין בעזרת פצירה. לבסוף ביצעתי תהליך השחמה של מסמרי הפליז.
בכ-4 שעות עבודה, ייצרתי כ-40 מסמרים.
מצורפות תמונות של תהליך העבודה וההתקנה של 6 הראשונים בחרטום.

That's an amazing and labor intensive process! To get it straight; 4 hours for 40 bolts means 250(!) hours for 2500 bolts?

My respect for your self-manufacturing of these square-headed nails, Shota. They look great.
Johan did some calculations, and as your skills improve, you can start producing in a industrial way.

first of all, thank you very much for your kind words and compliments
Secondly, I would like to clarify that the process of making the 2500 planking nails was different than the last 40 nails and was therefore faster. It did not require milling, but cutting and sanding, and as I progressed in the work, the process became more efficient and faster.
