This is an excellent discussion on carthapins and thank you @Steef66 for posting the detail of how you have rigged them.

A question, and please do not think me critical, I am merely asking - I noticed from one of your earlier posts, that the four forward, starboard shrouds have used Z laid line while the aft and port main shrouds appear to be S laid. Is that intentional? I zoomed into the photo on your post (as below), which shows this.

No problem. I started the rigging. And I didn"t think about Z or S laid. I hardly study how, why or what. Now I know it must be Z laid after a lot of study. That one side have 2 different laids is because I did the ratlines again and these 4 ropes I had to replace. Yes I make only Z-laid rope now.
Almost perfect almost.....

Thanks Peter. I know now a lot about ropemaking and the history about ropes. I learned a lot about this subject at this time and still learning more. I wrote an artikel in NVM De Modelbouwer about this. Maybe one day I'll translate it in English and post it here.

Today I finished the ratlines on the fore shrouds and I started making the mouse and eye on the stay. And served the stay over the lenght.
