I found a solution for that. I put it in a box and save it for later. Maybe I need it some day and so it isn't wasted. And a good feeling is the price.Brilliant Stephan! The only concern I have is that’s a lot of wasted thread laying on the table. How does a frugal Dutchman survive that?

Thanks Serikoff. Yes ropemaking has made a huge step. Amann is good. Easy to buy. I'm also using Gütermann and that is a good choice, but not always available here in Europe. There is a good thread to see a lot of discussion about rope making and experience of other builders. Look here
