Build Log "CAF" HMS Enterprise

I ordered some from Amati....they should be fine. will keep Drydock in mind, thanks

Busy day....Finished planking Port side, still needs sanding, production was halted due to Natives attacking with large Spears, detailed out 1 gun using Antscherl's diagram. Does anyone have a good method for coiling the ropes on the deck, once the gun is mounted?

Havent posted in a while....been dealing with some self inflicted pain at the stern. My Width at the stern is about 1/4 inch too narrow, probably due to the angle on the stern cant frames being off(my Fault). Anyway it throws off the stern, as well as the quarter galleries. In addition I damaged a few of the stern windows. CAF is sending me a new set after Covid Lockdown. Did work through the Stern Galleries, will need to fit the windows.

Folks, sorry havent posted in a while, became very frustrated with the Stern Galleries, took them off, and completely replaced them with new parts that Tom from CAF sent me. They are better, but still could be improved. Continue to build deck furniture. REplaced all the first attempt at windows, very fragile, Discovered it was better to slowly sand them out of the board, then trying to cut them out.

Good morning Paul. The stern... it is the one part of a ship I see guys redo all the time. It is like the kit manufacturers colluded to give us all a challenge. You will succeed for sure. Beautiful pictures and detailed work. I love the look of your deck, cannons and fittings. Brilliant Thumbsup. Cheers Grant
