Mainsail Winch


Making some good progress. I installed the mainsail winch in a similar fashion as the spanker. The mainsail winch will act directly on the midship sheets, with the forward and aft sheets following.

So far it does not appear that the running line wants to jump the winch drum... should it become an issue, I'll have to figure out a method to tension the lines.

A closer look at the mains running-rigging winch configuration:

BTW, that 'Beep' you hear from the radio transmitter is when the winch servo is at its 0-degree position.... helps to center the sheets.
