HMS Victory Build #776 1:98 scale

Well hull 1st level planking done tonight
Next is topside to finish planking up to mizzen deck and deck top with quarters below it then I can sand all planking and get ready fo final planking

Well got more done this weekend as we had a snow and ice storm and couldn’t go anywhere.
Finished filling low spots and sanding 1st planking. Added bulwarks outer shells both sides and added 1st level of stearn base.
I’ll next concentrate on finishing stearn area before final planks on hull areas.

Forgot to include overall view and a printed 3D model of cannon carriage. Just bought a 3D printer last month and I wanted to try and make some parts with it. 1st try came out not too bad. It’s in plastic and I bought some wood filament and will try it in wood when I learn more about settings for printing. Very interesting and easier to make than from scratch.

.does anyone have plan drawings of a scaled (1:100 or other scale) wheel? i need to make my ships wheel
i need to make a cad drawing and convert to 3d and then off to my 3d printer.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone that has one. ill post pics of model once i finish final planking of hull
I opted to purchase gallery decorations and figures and entry ports from england.
they're made with resinon a 3d printer and are actually really good. not too expensive either.
I"ll upload pics after I receive them..

Been busy working with my 3-D printer to make some parts and I succeeded yesterday in building a ship’s wheel though it’s not perfect I think it looks good enough for what I’m going to need to use. This is only temporary printing the final product will be printed with the wood filament later this week I will also print 6 cannon carriages now I can get back to Planking
of lower half.

Doing more 3D printing of parts for my model
Although these are just test before using wood filament they are looking really good.
I need some help about the forward decking area. In my instructions although very vague it says to put the fife rail and bits assy inside the 4 mm sq wood surrounding the deck area. It doesn’t look correct. I’m uploading this questions 2 options pics and need anyone’s opinion on which way to go.
Thanks for your input

Your second option is definitely the correct one. I just watched part of a Victory walk round on you tube which clearly shows this.

Thank you very much. I show also look to internet for more pics and info
Thanks again
