POF La Palme (L'Amarante) Corvette 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph) by Tobias

Hi Tobias,

This dove tail is also cut into the frame to keep the plank in position.
That's right Martin, I misread the plan, what can I say I'll try to correct it. If details then correct. We'll see what can be done without causing much damage. If it doesn't work, it's not that bad because this side is fully planked and you won't see it that much anymore.

Good evening everyone,
unfortunately I couldn't correct my mistake, the glue sticks too well and unfortunately it's not water-soluble. I've decided to let it go before I do too much damage.
In the last few days I went to bed a bit, my grandchild infected me with a cough, snotty nose and everything that belongs to a real cold and so I had enough time to do some research.
The inner floorboards:
There is a slightly thicker and wider board at the level of the ramparts (inside), which is also provided with teeth and serves as a support for the crossbeams. I have now made these and gone through the plans with GD. There is a planning board on which various cross-sections can be seen, which I use as height reference points, the longitudinal section is not suitable for this, I get a different height ratio.

You are making so much work especially for this joint - which will be more or less not visible, only from inside with a vertical butt line and the treenailing pattern of the 6 nails.... WOW - very good my friend

I wish you a good evening.
A small update:
The battens for the support beams for the deck have been installed on both sides.

A little hint: If you are interested in a group construction of Le Rochefort (scratch build), please contact @Donnie or have a look at the post.

Dear Tobias. To my embarrassment, I have only gone through your beautiful build log now. This is superb work - from now on I will tag along regularly!

Hello everyone, it is done.
The starboard side is planked, now about 2000 nails will follow, which I will make from walnut pins. I have tried 3 variants and I like the walnut variant quite well. The other two were dark wood spatulas and the other was dyed toothpicks. All three variations are relatively the same but more work.
