POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

good evening dear friends
doring the Last week I worked on the frames that create the bow of the ship. These are two half-bow, each of which consists of six half-frames. Each half bow is connected on one side to the front edge of the keel in the bow and on the other side to frame number 1 which is a whole frame.
The creation of the half bow that produce the Outline of the complete bow requires patient and precise work on the angle of the frames.
In fact, evry half bow cracked from three pairs of frames, each pair consisting of a frame that accepts the partner at the bottom and creates a kind of complete v, and the three pairs of v together produce the shape of the half bow. It is important to work with the drawing of the bow that made up of six frames in order to maintain their angles and outline.
I hope my explanation was clear and simple, I'm uusing oogle Translate. Later I created frame number 1 which is whole and has sharp angles. I installed it on the keel at the required angle and between them I will have to install the halves of the bows and thus produce the front of the bow and its exact outline.
I'm attaching photos of the process so far, he has a few more days of work left until the complete and accurate result is reached.
I wish everyone a good and blessed week

Dear Shota, I just learned that you started a new project. I wish you luck and success in this challenging journey. I'll be following my friend.
Having to deal with compound angles, complex joinery, and cracking frames must be challenging Shota. I sure am enjoying your build though. Keep up the good work.
I'm afraid breaking frames is part of the deal when going for a POF model.
Another option could be to stack the required number of frame parts and then use your CNC capabilities to machine to the correct shape.
Thank you dear friends for the words of encouragement and support !
as well as for all the dear friends who follow and support, compliments, likes and smiles. I try to enjoy and learn from the process and from you :)

That hawse-pieces' pattern is dreadfully complicated. I've almost came undone even with my silly Hoy... . Congrats, chap!

good morning dear friends
The chassis of the bow of the ship is ready after the two half-bow have been sanding quite a bit at different points to achieve an optimal Match:).

I still have a lot of sanding work to do when the entire ship's hull is ready/all the frames will be installed. So enjoy the pictures
