POF L'Amarante Corvette de 12 canons 1744 1:36 (Ancre Monograph- Gérard Delacroix) By Shota

Thank you very much for your attention, the figure you mentioned is affected both by the angle of photography and because I left a small excess of material in the structure/frames to make precision in the final sanding of the finish
Are the rails you fixed temporary? If so, that's fine.

Good evening dear friends
I know that I've been up to date the last couple of times that I intend to switch from working on the hull to working on the Decorations and decorative pieces.
However, I find it difficult to detach myself from working on the hull:D
I decided to continue working on the whales (the three rows of planking below the line of the cannon openings).
I decided that the middle one would be made of boxwood the two bordering from above and below would be made of ebony.
Before starting the work, I worked for two days (about two or three hours each day) on measuring and marking the panels from the top line on the deck railing to the three whales panels as well as on marking the various windows and openings.
only after that I make the boards out of ebony including the design of the rounded boards in the bow.
I'll let you get an impression of the intermediate result, since I haven't installed the upper boxwood and ebony panel yet.
Enjoy the pictures and good night

Good morning Shota. The box wood and ebony is so effective. Kudos. Cheers Grant

Good afternoon dear friends

In the last two weeks I worked on the first three whales, including repairing and sanding areas and frames that were not placed in a way that allows for a continuous and uniform line.
In addition to that I disassembled the parts of the rear front of the stern and made completely new parts to arrive at a nice and stable total portion of the stern that matches the plans.
The sterns have not yet been glued, it will require fine adjustments and precision from me.
you can get an impression of the photos
Wishing everyone a nice weekend and summer vacation

Very nice progress, Shota. I like the combination of the choosen timbers.
Do you come to our next years meeting in Bad Kissingen? I like to see your sloop in reality
thank you very much my friend for your kind words and compliments.
I have been in Augsburg too years ago, and I hope I can do it again
thank you for the invite, it's the same meeting?

Beautiful progress Shota my friend.
you progressed a lot from the last time i saw your ship.
thank you very much my dear friend for your kind words and compliments, you will see it on the next meeting

Good evening dear friends
Tonight I finished assembling the back front of the stern, based on the new parts I made.
A few notes; unlike my previous experience, I decided not to press the edge of the frames to the edge of the side beam because it slightly distorts the contour, these I inserted a connection cube 3 mm long.
In addition, in the upper part above the windows I added two width beams in order to maintain the spacing the right one between the beams as well as in order to give additional reinforcement to the construction of the facade.
Obviously I deviated a bit from the plans, but I prefer it that way.
During the last few days I made a new bracket for the ship, you can see it in the pictures. I based myself on the outlines of frames 11, 21 and 39. The hull of the ship sits firmly in it Good night friends
good night everyone
