The stairs are made from a strip of timber, the steps where filed with the aid of a 3d printed jig. These are the jigs I used to make a steps, the other block is used to cut the radius on the underside. This is how the strip fits into the filing jig, the top of the jig is marked with a sharpie so I can see when the depth is correct. For more details see entry 430 of this log.
